01Click Software + IBM
Product Design
From startup demo to IBM acquisition.
I designed the UI system, user interactions, and a configurable design framework for Opportunity, a sales enablement app that helped enterprise tech reps win more deals with their named accounts. The app delivered targeted sales plays with relevant collateral, demos, customer stories, and coaching — all in one place. Reps could prep, present live in meetings, send targeted follow-ups with trackable emails, and auto-generate CRM entries, driving measurable pipeline and revenue growth.
The Challenge
Sales leadership needed a tool that could deploy targeted sales plays quickly to their reps in the field, complete with contextual collateral, demos, and coaching from leaders - replacing broadcast emails and scattered portals with a single, focused experience. In addition, it had to make presenting solutions and success stories directly to customers simple, compelling, and quantifiable.
My Role
I created the interactive wireframes, UI system, and interaction design, along with a reskinning framework that allowed the app to be branded for each client. Starting with an 01Click branded release, I built customized versions for SAP, Cisco, HP, Infor, and others, and eventually a full redesign for IBM.
I also designed branding and marketing assets, as well as coordinated production of a demo video.
Impact
Improved communication of leads and sales plays across the sales organization
Consolidated playbooks, demos, collateral, and reference data into one platform
Enabled instant follow-up, tracking, and CRM connectivity
Accelerated sales cycles while reducing costs
Ultimately, the product was acquired by IBM, validating the design system’s scalability and value.
